People are still discriminated against and persecuted today: Because they are gay, lesbian or trans, because they desire both men and women, or because they do not fit into a normative world view for other reasons. Julius Pristauz has dedicated a memorial to all these people who do not live and love according to the usual conventions in the Lakeside Science & Technology Park. The monument is inconspicuous during the day. As one of the lights, it can hardly be distinguished from the others. In the dark, however, the monument takes on a dazzling spectrum of colors.
Julius Pristauz (b. 1998 in Austria) lives and works in Berlin.
